The QMWheel V20, V20 Pro and S20 are among the most popular fatbikes in the Netherlands, but out of the box they are restricted to 25 km/h. Want to go faster on private or enclosed grounds? Then you need two parts: the tunable H6C display and a tunable controller.
Complete tuning set
You always need a tunable controller and a tunable display. This way you order both in one go.
Fits: QMWheel V20 / V20 Pro / S20
Display
V20 / V20 Pro / V29 Pro - Tunable Display with kill switch (H6C)
The colour is on the inside of the motor plug: pull the plug apart and do the colour check (1 minute). Go to the colour check

Step 1: the tunable H6C display (45 km/h)
The first part is replacing the standard H6C display with the tunable H6C display (45 km/h). This display has a 5-pin connector and fits the V20, V20 Pro, S20, V20 Max and V30. Unplug the old display, connect the new one, done. No cutting cables, no software needed. You simply keep a fully featured display with speed, battery level and assist modes.
Do you have the latest generation V20 with NFC screen? Then choose the tunable H6C NFC display.
Step 2: fitting a tunable controller
The second part is the controller: replace the original with a tunable version, otherwise the display stays at 25 km/h. Before ordering, take a quick look at the colour of the plug on your motor cable: red fits red, black fits black:
- Red plug → tunable V20/V20 Pro controller with red plug (45 km/h)
- Black plug → tunable controller with black plug
Not sure? Send a photo of the plug via WhatsApp and we'll take a look with you straight away.
Display and controller: how the kit works
The display contains the unlock code and the kill switch that takes you back to 25 km/h; the controller determines how much power the motor gets. Together they form the tuning kit. All kits for each model are together in the tuning kits collection.
Frequently asked questions
Does the tunable H6C display also fit the S20 and V30?
Yes. The tunable H6C display with 5-pin connector fits the QMWheel V20, V20 Pro, S20, V20 Max and V30.
Do I need to replace both the display and the controller?
Yes. With only a tunable controller the display stays at 25 km/h, and with only a tunable display the motor lacks the power. Not sure about your version or model year? Send our specialist a quick message and we'll take a look with you.
What about warranty?
We do not give any additional warranty on tunable displays and controllers; your statutory rights continue to apply as normal. In addition, modifying your fatbike may affect the manufacturer's warranty on the bike itself.
