Second battery for on the road. The print is already wearing off a bit. My wife is happy with it.
Product information
The benefits at a glance
- Original part
- Includes two keys
- Can be charged on and off the bike
Meet the QMWheel Battery. This high-quality 48-volt battery with a capacity of 15.6 amps is known for its impressive capacity and performance during cycling. With the 15 amp battery, you can effortlessly cycle uphill and over longer distances, while benefiting from a smooth and efficient ride.
The battery can be charged in two ways:
In the bike: You can leave the battery in the bike and charge the bike this way. If you then look at the display, you can see the battery percentage.
Separate from the bike: You can take the battery inside and charge it indoors, ensuring the battery lasts longer. Avoid cold or extremely hot spaces for charging. If you press the small button at the top of the battery, you can see how full the battery is.
We recommend not leaving the battery charger on the saddle during charging, as it can get warm.
Comes with two accompanying keys.
Suitable for: V20, V20 Pro, S20, V30, V20 Max, V20 Limited.
(Please check carefully whether the part matches your part to avoid disappointment)
Good to know
You can easily swap a battery yourself: unlock the old battery with the key, slide it out of the frame, and put the new one back in until it clicks firmly into place. Then turn the lock closed again so the battery is held securely. Fully charge the battery before first use for the best performance.
Pro tip: don't leave your battery completely empty for a long time and store it at room temperature in winter; this keeps its capacity up longer. Can't manage it yourself or in doubt? Feel free to message us on WhatsApp at +31 6 82090642 and we'll help you out quickly.

Can I have my fatbike tuned by you?
Our fatbikes are tunable, and we also supply individual parts to upgrade your fatbike. Please note: tuning is only permitted on private property, not on public roads.
Is a fatbike still legal?
Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.
What are the new fatbike rules for 2026?
As of 2026, stricter rules apply around age, helmet requirements, and vehicle specifications. Check our information page for the latest details.
Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.
Why buy a fatbike?
A fatbike is comfortable, fast, and ready for any terrain, from city streets to the beach. Ideal for commuting and for fun. And with our tunable models, you get even more out of it.
Do you need a helmet on a fatbike?
A helmet is strongly recommended for your own safety. From 2026, a helmet requirement will be introduced for certain fatbike categories.
What does tuning a fatbike cost?
A tunable controller costs from 98 euro for the V20 family and the Ouxi models, and 179 euro for the GT2000 and GT2000 2.0. Fitting it yourself usually takes less than half an hour. Not sure which part fits your fatbike?

Heb je een rijbewijs nodig voor een fatbike?
