Good to know
When replacing your tire, first let all the air out of the inner tube, then pry the old tire off the rim with tire levers. Lay the new tire evenly on the rim and check that the inner tube isn't pinched anywhere before you inflate. Can't manage it yourself or in doubt? Pro tip: gently inflate the tire a little at first and check all around that the tread seats evenly in the rim, then bring it up to the right pressure.

Can I have my fatbike tuned by you?
Our fatbikes are tunable, and we also supply individual parts to upgrade your fatbike. Please note: tuning is only permitted on private property, not on public roads.
Is a fatbike still legal?
Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.
What are the new fatbike rules for 2026?
As of 2026, stricter rules apply around age, helmet requirements, and vehicle specifications. Check our information page for the latest details.
Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.
