Product information
The benefits at a glance
- Original part
- Easy to install yourself
- In stock, ready to ship
Is your derailleur protector damaged or broken? Then this is the perfect original replacement part for your fatbike! This specially designed derailleur protector for your fatbike ensures that your derailleur remains intact in case of a fall.
Fits: all Ouxi models, including minis
(Please check carefully whether the part matches your part to avoid disappointment)
Good to know
The derailleur protector prevents your rear derailleur from getting damaged if your fatbike tips over or bumps into something. Install it on the end of your rear axle, next to the derailleur, so it shields the vulnerable shifting mechanism. After installation, check that you can still shift smoothly.
Pro tip: tighten the fastening firmly but not too tight, so the protector doesn't turn along with it. Can't manage it yourself or in doubt? Feel free to message us on WhatsApp at +31 6 82090642, and we'll help you out quickly.

Please note
This derailleur protector is intended for the Ouxi fatbike. Check that the shape and mounting point match your own part before you order. In doubt about the fit? Message us on WhatsApp at +31 6 82090642, and we'll take a look with you.

Can I have my fatbike tuned by you?
Our fatbikes are tunable, and we also supply individual parts to upgrade your fatbike. Please note: tuning is only permitted on private property, not on public roads.
Is a fatbike still legal?
Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.
What are the new fatbike rules for 2026?
As of 2026, stricter rules apply around age, helmet requirements, and vehicle specifications. Check our information page for the latest details.
Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.
Why buy a fatbike?
A fatbike is comfortable, fast, and ready for any terrain, from city streets to the beach. Ideal for commuting and for fun. And with our tunable models, you get even more out of it.
Do you need a helmet on a fatbike?
A helmet is strongly recommended for your own safety. From 2026, a helmet requirement will be introduced for certain fatbike categories.
What does tuning a fatbike cost?
A tunable controller costs from 98 euro for the V20 family and the Ouxi models, and 179 euro for the GT2000 and GT2000 2.0. Fitting it yourself usually takes less than half an hour. Not sure which part fits your fatbike?
