Suitable for: all Ouxi Fatbikes 16 / 20 / 24 inch with a 3-pin throttle connection on your wiring harness
(Check carefully whether the part fits your Fatbike, by way of a throttle connection on your wiring harness at the handlebars)
(Throttles are allowed a maximum of 6 km/h in the Netherlands)
Good to know
When replacing a twist throttle with grip and spacer ring, first slide the whole old assembly off the handlebar. During installation, pay attention to the correct order: first the spacer ring, then the throttle, and finally the grip. Plug the throttle's connector neatly back into the same connection on your controller and check that it clicks firmly into place. Can't manage it yourself or in doubt? Pro tip: keep the grip on the other side of the handlebar at the same height, so your handlebar looks clean and even. After installation, calmly test whether the throttle springs back smoothly.

Can I have my fatbike tuned by you?
Our fatbikes are tunable, and we also supply individual parts to upgrade your fatbike. Please note: tuning is only permitted on private property, not on public roads.
Is a fatbike still legal?
Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.
What are the new fatbike rules for 2026?
As of 2026, stricter rules apply around age, helmet requirements, and vehicle specifications. Check our information page for the latest details.
Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.

What does tuning a fatbike cost?
