Meet the battery for the Ouxi GT20. This 48-volt battery has a capacity of 15Ah (720Wh). With it, the GT20 rides up to 65 km on a single charge. Charging from empty to full takes about 4 hours.

The battery can be charged in two ways:

In the bike: You can leave the battery in the bike and charge the bike this way. The display then shows how full the battery is.

Off the bike: You can take the battery indoors and charge it there, which makes it last longest. Avoid cold or extremely hot rooms while charging. The small button on the battery shows how full it is.

Do not leave the charger lying on the saddle while charging. It can get warm.

Comes with two matching keys.

Good to know

Installing a new battery in your Ouxi GT20 is quick: unlock the old battery with the key, slide it out of the frame, and slide the new battery in until it clicks into place. Then turn the lock closed again so the battery can't come loose while riding. Fully charge it before first use.

Ouxi GT20 battery 48V 15Ah: 720 Wh for the fatbike for two

This 48 volt, 15 amp-hour and 720 Wh battery is the replacement part for the Ouxi GT20. With a full battery, the GT20 rides up to 65 km. After many charging cycles, every battery loses some capacity. With a new battery you reach the distances of the early days again, or you use it as a spare next to your current battery.

Which bike is this battery for?

The battery is intended for the Ouxi GT20: the fatbike on 20 inch wheels with 20x4.0 inch tyres, a suspension fork and room for two people. The GT20 has a steel frame, a 250 W motor and hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. Do you ride another Ouxi model? You will find the other types among the batteries. With a passenger on the back you get less far than alone. Headwind, cold and a soft tyre also cost range.

Charging on or off the bike

You can put the GT20 on the charger with the battery in place. It is often easier to take the battery out of the frame and charge it indoors. Then the 43 kg bike does not have to go to a socket. The LCD display shows how full the battery is. Do not charge in freezing cold or in full sun, and do not put the charger on the saddle. Two keys are included.

What a new battery does not change

A new battery delivers kilometres, not speed. On public roads, pedal assist stops at 25 km/h. Riding faster is only allowed on private or enclosed land. That limit stays the same with two people on the bike.

Swapping the battery

Open the lock with the key and slide the old battery out of the frame. Slide the new battery in until it clicks into place. Turn the lock closed again, otherwise the battery can come loose on the way. Charge it fully before the first ride.

Can I take a spare battery with me?

Yes. Swap the empty battery for the full one on the way, using the key. Store the spare indoors and top it up now and then, even if you do not use it for a while.
