Meet the battery for the Ouxi GT20 Pro. This 48-volt battery has a capacity of 15Ah (720Wh). With it, the GT20 Pro rides up to 65 km on a single charge. Charging from empty to full takes about 4 hours.

The battery can be charged in two ways:

In the bike: You can leave the battery in the bike and charge the bike this way. The display then shows how full the battery is.

Off the bike: You can take the battery indoors and charge it there, which makes it last longest. Avoid cold or extremely hot rooms while charging. The small button on the battery shows how full it is.

Do not leave the charger lying on the saddle while charging. It can get warm.

Comes with two matching keys.

Good to know

Installing a new battery in your Ouxi GT20 Pro is quick: unlock the old battery with the key, slide it out of the frame, and slide the new battery in until it clicks into place. Then turn the lock closed again so the battery can't come loose while riding. Fully charge it before first use.

Pro tip: store the battery indoors in winter and put it on the charger now and then when the bike is not in use, so it stays in good condition longer. Charging from empty to full takes about 4 hours. Ouxi GT20 Pro battery 48V 15Ah: 720 Wh for rides on tarmac and unpaved paths

If you ride the Ouxi GT20 Pro, this is the battery that goes with it. It delivers 48 volts and 15 amp-hours, 720 Wh in total. With it, the GT20 Pro goes up to 65 km. Use it to replace a battery that runs empty faster than it used to, or as a second battery for a long ride.

The battery is intended for the Ouxi GT20 Pro. This fatbike rides on 20 inch wheels with 20x4.0 inch off-road tyres and has front and rear suspension. It also has a steel frame, a 250 W motor, hydraulic disc brakes and an adjustable stem. The bike is rated for 2 people. Do you have another model? Then have a look at the batteries. Unpaved paths and wide off-road tyres need more energy than smooth tarmac. If you often ride through woods or over gravel, expect less than 65 km.

Charging on or off the bike

The battery can stay in the bike while charging. If you come home muddy, it is often nicer to take just the battery inside. Charge at room temperature, not in a cold garage or in the sun. The LCD display shows how much charge is left. Do not put the charger on the saddle while charging. Two keys come with the battery.

What a new battery does not change

A new battery does not change the speed limit. On public roads, pedal assist stops at 25 km/h. Riding faster is only allowed on private or enclosed land. What you do get back is the range of a new battery.

Swapping the battery

Open the lock with the key and pull the old battery out of the frame. Slide the new battery into the holder until it clicks into place. Turn the lock closed, so it stays firmly in place on bumpy paths too. Charge the battery fully before first use.
