Good to know
This is a complete rim with motor for the rear of your fatbike, so you replace the wheel and the drive at once. Secure the fatbike firmly, remove the old rear wheel, and pay close attention to the cable and the plug so you can reconnect them correctly later. Install the new assembly, connect the plug, and check that the wheel spins freely before you take a test ride.

Can I have my fatbike tuned by you?
Our fatbikes are tunable, and we also supply individual parts to upgrade your fatbike. Please note: tuning is only permitted on private property, not on public roads.
Is a fatbike still legal?
Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.

As of 2026, stricter rules apply around age, helmet requirements, and vehicle specifications. Check our information page for the latest details.
Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.
