Good to know
The front fork connects your front wheel to the frame and the head tube. When replacing it, detach the front wheel and the stem, slide out the old fork, and put the new one back in. Work carefully with the bearings and tighten everything firmly, because this is a part that affects your safety. Can't manage it yourself or in doubt? Feel free to message us on WhatsApp at +31 6 82090642, and we'll help you out quickly.
Pro tip: if in doubt, have the front fork installed by someone experienced, because a properly adjusted headset is important for safe steering.

Can I have my fatbike tuned by you?
Our fatbikes are tunable, and we also supply individual parts to upgrade your fatbike. Please note: tuning is only permitted on private property, not on public roads.
Is a fatbike still legal?
Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.
What are the new fatbike rules for 2026?
As of 2026, stricter rules apply around age, helmet requirements, and vehicle specifications. Check our information page for the latest details.
Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.
Why buy a fatbike?
A fatbike is comfortable, fast, and ready for any terrain, from city streets to the beach. Ideal for commuting and for fun. And with our tunable models, you get even more out of it.
Do you need a helmet on a fatbike?
A helmet is strongly recommended for your own safety. From 2026, a helmet requirement will be introduced for certain fatbike categories.
What does tuning a fatbike cost?
A tunable controller costs from 98 euro for the V20 family and the Ouxi models, and 179 euro for the GT2000 and GT2000 2.0. Fitting it yourself usually takes less than half an hour. Not sure which part fits your fatbike?

Brede banden zorgen voor extra stabiliteit en comfort. Ideaal voor dagelijks gebruik en wisselende ondergronden zoals klinkers en slecht wegdek.
Heb je een rijbewijs nodig voor een fatbike?
