With its dirt bike looks and fat tyres, the Ouxi GT2000 is one of the toughest fatbikes around right now. Buy it from us and you do not have to rebuild anything: our GT2000 comes in two versions, Restricted and Tunable, and you switch the Tunable version yourself from restricted to tuned with the included kill switch. Do you already have a GT2000 that is locked down? Then on this model, replacing the controller is the way to get more speed on private property.
Complete tuning set
You always need a tunable controller and a tunable display. This way you order both in one go.

Our GT2000: two versions, with Tunable you switch yourself with the kill switch
We sell the GT2000 in two versions and in three colours: black, orange and green. Restricted (250W) costs from 1,498 euros, Tunable from 1,698 euros. In restricted mode the throttle runs up to 6 km/h and the pedal assist up to 25 km/h. In tuned mode the throttle and the pedal assist both go up to 60 km/h. With the Tunable version you switch between those two modes yourself with the included kill switch: a few seconds of work, no tools needed. The throttle is included with both versions, the kill switch with Tunable.
Tuning the GT2000: why through the controller?
On many Ouxi models, such as the V8 and C80, a tunable display is enough. The GT2000 is put together differently: here the speed limiter sits in the controller, so you replace it and add the tunable display. Did you buy your GT2000 somewhere else and is there no kill switch on it? Then you take the limiter off by replacing the original controller with the GT2000 tunable controller (179 euros). It does exactly the same as the controller that is already in our own GT2000: 60 km/h tuned, 6 km/h on the throttle when you ride restricted, and a kill switch to switch between the two.
What changes after tuning?
- Top speed up to 60 km/h. The speed in practice depends on the battery, tyre pressure, weight and surface.
- 6 km/h throttle function. In the restricted mode you ride up to 6 km/h without pedalling, handy when pulling away or manoeuvring. Above that the normal pedal assist takes over.
- The rest stays familiar. The display, lighting and pedal assist simply keep working.
Fitting in four steps
- Switch the fatbike off and take the battery out.
- Undo the original controller and first take a photo of all the connections.
- Move the plugs over to the new controller one by one, they only fit one way.
- Tuck everything away neatly, battery back in and test calmly on private property.
A kill switch comes with the new controller, so afterwards you switch between restricted and tuned yourself. Keep your original controller somewhere safe and you can always put the fatbike back to the factory setting later. Can't work it out? Our specialist helps you step by step via WhatsApp.
Frequently asked questions about tuning the GT2000
How fast does the GT2000 go after tuning?
The tunable controller supports speeds up to 60 km/h. The actual top speed differs from one situation to another.
Do I have to choose between a restricted and a tuned GT2000?
Yes, there are two versions. Restricted (250W, from 1,498 euros) rides with pedal assist up to 25 km/h and a throttle up to 6 km/h. Tunable (from 1,698 euros) does both: with the included kill switch you decide for yourself whether you ride restricted or tuned.
Can I tune the GT2000 with only a display?
No, you need both. On this model the limiter sits in the controller, so you replace it; on top of that you need the tunable display to set and read off the higher speed. We have that display in two versions: HC80 with NFC and HC80 without NFC. If there is already a kill switch on your bike, you are often good to go.
Can I go back to the original situation?
Yes. Put the kill switch back to restricted, or fit the original controller again and your GT2000 rides just like it came out of the box.
