Customer Reviews
I am really happy with it
The off-road tyres grip well on sand and forest tracks.
The hydraulic brakes stop it sharply. They did squeak for the first few days.
Sleek black, it really does look ace.
Big battery, I don't have to put it on the charger very often.
Does exactly what I wanted
Ordered it assembled, it arrived ready to ride. Only had to charge it and go.
The kill switch puts it back to restricted in no time. Derestricted I only ride on our own land.
Pulls away nicely with the throttle. For my wife the step-over is really too high.
The screen is big and easy to read.
Ordered it boxed. With two of us it was put together quickly.
feels really sturdy, on unpaved roads too.
He is over the moon with it and rides it every day.
Best bike I have had so far.
I am tall and the high step-over suits me fine. Taking it up in the lift is tricky with this weight though.
Well packed, nothing was damaged
Plenty of grip and it rides very steadily. Lifting it over a kerb is no fun.
Everything works as promised
The battery comes out, so I just charge it indoors.
Asked a question about the assembly and got a quick reply.
Lovely thing to look at. For town it is really just a bit too big for me.
Great that it has a throttle for pulling away
A few months on and it still rides like new.
We used it all summer, in the dunes and on the beach path. The tyres grip everywhere and the saddle is still fine on a longer ride. I would order it from this shop again in a heartbeat.

You have questions, we have answers!
Everything you want to know about fatbikes, tuning and our service.
Does the tunable GT2000 reach 60 km/h on the throttle alone?
Yes. In the tunable version you reach 60 km/h on the throttle alone, so you don't have to pedal. This is only allowed on private or closed-off land. With the included kill switch you set it back to restricted (throttle 6 km/h, pedal assist 25 km/h) for public roads. This applies to the GT2000 and the GT2000 2.0.
Restricted or tunable: what is the difference on the GT2000?
The Ouxi GT2000 and GT2000 2.0 come in two versions. Restricted (250W): pedal assist up to 25 km/h and throttle up to 6 km/h, legal on public roads. Tunable: tuned up to 60 km/h, on the throttle too. With the included kill switch you switch it back to restricted (throttle 6 km/h) for public roads. Riding tuned is only allowed on private property.
Why choose fatbikeklaar.nl?
We specialize in tunable fatbikes and parts. Over 500 happy customers have gone before you. Fast delivery, sharp prices, and customer service that truly thinks along with you.
Can I have my fatbike tuned by you?
Our fatbikes are tunable, and we also supply individual parts to upgrade your fatbike. Please note: tuning is only permitted on private property, not on public roads.
Is a fatbike still legal?
Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.
What are the new fatbike rules for 2026?
As of 2026, stricter rules apply around age, helmet requirements, and vehicle specifications. Check our information page for the latest details.
Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.
Why buy a fatbike?
A fatbike is comfortable, fast, and ready for any terrain, from city streets to the beach. Ideal for commuting and for fun. And with our tunable models, you get even more out of it.
Do you need a helmet on a fatbike?
A helmet is strongly recommended for your own safety. From 2026, a helmet requirement will be introduced for certain fatbike categories.
How fast does the Ouxi GT2000 go when tuned?
Tuned, the GT2000 reaches up to 60 km/h, both on the throttle and on the pedal assist. Restricted, it does 6 km/h on the throttle and 25 km/h on the pedal assist. The tuned mode is intended for private property. This applies to the GT2000 and the GT2000 2.0.
What does the kill switch on the GT2000 do?
With the kill switch you switch between tuned and restricted riding yourself. Tuned, the throttle goes up to 60 km/h. Restricted, the throttle goes up to 6 km/h and pedal assist up to 25 km/h, so you ride legally on public roads. It comes as standard with the Tunable version, so there is nothing extra to order. Riding tuned is only allowed on private property.
What does tuning a fatbike cost?
A tunable controller costs from 98 euro for the V20 family and the Ouxi models, and 179 euro for the GT2000 and GT2000 2.0. Fitting it yourself usually takes less than half an hour. Not sure which part fits your fatbike?
